Is Harry Collett leaving House of the Dragon, Jace?

Following the events of tonight’s House of the Dragon season 3 episode, have we seen the end of Harry Collett as Jace?
Well, let’s just begin by stating the obvious from what happened over the course of this hour: The Targaryen is gone, and the same can be said for his dragon. He decided to trap Rhaenyra in her quarters (for her “own safety”) while venturing out to the Battle of the Gullet alongside Baela. They were eventually met there by Rhaena, who learned soon after that she was fundamentally unable to control her dragon Sheepstealer soon after acquiring it.

Jace’s eventual death in the water was both tragic and painful, especially since it encompassed most of the story’s end. This is also sure to be one that has far-reaching consequences within the world of the show, mostly because how in the world can it not? This is the sort of thing that will linger as Rhaenyra deals with the aftermath of losing yet another son amidst bloodshed. She may blame Alicent, who truly tried to give her useful information but was not privy to every single movement throughout the Seven Kingdoms. Meanwhile, others within Team Black may go about their vengeance in their own way.
Beyond just losing Jace, why not take a moment to praise the battle itself? We know that this is one of the most expensive sequences that we’ve seen across the entire Game of Thrones universe and thankfully, this is not money that went to waste. What we saw here was nothing short of extraordinary from top to bottom and it is easy to be excited about where the entire season is going to go from here — though our heart does go out to both Baela and Rhaenyra at the same time.
