Sugar season 2 episode 2 preview: Will John find Ji Moon?

Following the big premiere today on Apple TV, why not look more towards Sugar season 2 episode 2? There is, after all, so much to be excited about across the board.

First and foremost, why not chronicle where we are now following the premiere? The producers made the rather shocking decision to kill Henry and by virtue of that, throw a good bit of the show into uncertainty. Are we ever going to learn the truth about John’s sister? In theory we think so, but it is going to be interspersed through the latest case that Colin Farrell’s charactr has taken on. After all, Ji Moon is missing and his brother Danny wants him to be found with the utmost urgency. The search for a sibling does echo Sugar’s own personal quest and as he narrated to us, that sentiment is 100% not lost on him.

We do recognize that there may be some out there sad that we only had a one-episode premiere for this season but from where we sit personally, we are still of the belief that this is for the best. Why is that? Well, it ties significantly to the fact that it gives the show more opportunities to be found and for viewers to discuss various theories! Given that so much time has passed since the end of season 1, we also tend to think it is all the more important that it has time for discovery … and also, we hope that viewers who watched the brilliant Widow’s Bay have not canceled their subscription as of yet.
