Love Island USA season 8 episode 9: Beatriz Hatz dumped

We knew heading into Love Island USA season 8 episode 9 that we would finally get the results of the first vote of the season. With that, though, we also had an elimination.
Ultimately, it was not hard to predict that a woman would be sent out of the villa, mostly due to the fact that Sean was the first person booted from the villa and the women had yet to face that sort of jeopardy. The problem is that at this point in the process, a lot of couples are solid and it is hard for anyone on the outs to find their way back in. That means being left out of a pair can be all the more dangerous.

Without further ado now, let’s just go ahead and talk about some of the results.
Kenzie & Caleb – This is a pretty predictable result, mostly due to the edit and also Kenzie and Caleb have more similarities than almost anyone else on the show. This ultimately left Corbin single and vulnerable.
Jen & Gabriel – While not as predictable, we still saw this coming to a certain extent. Beatriz was left in a vulnerable spot while Jen, meanwhile, is paired with the only possible connection we had.
Sincere & Sol – Obviously, more mess. We knew this was coming, but that does not make it any easier for Melanie. Sincere told Melanie before it even happened that they would be okay.
Now, the next twist
Ariana Madix then announced that Corbin had the final say on what was going to happen. He had a chance to choose between Beatriz and Melanie … and he picked Melanie. He had at least some chemistry with her, but this meant that Beatriz is out — which is really sad given that she tried her best to be genuine in the villa.
