The arrival of Widow’s Bay season 1 episode 9 is just 24 hours away on Peacock, so why not celebrate by taking a look ahead?
Based on what we know coming into this installment now, one thing is clear: A massive storm is brewing across the island. Is this the work of some supernatural force, or is there something different at play here? These have long been questions at the heart of the show but no matter the cause for what is to come, Tom and the town still have to act. Luckily, this is not their first rodeo dealing with something like this — no surprise, given that we talking about an island in the northeast.

If you head over to Broadway World now, you can see a short episode 9 preview that gives you a sense of what is happening as Tom gets everyone to some sort of shelter. Are they going to be okay there? That remains to be seen, but he insists that nobody leave. This could be the work of a hero, or it could be a recipe for disaster.
Let’s just put it this way: There are going to be a lot of people in a pretty confined space in this episode. By virtue of that, we do tend to think something bad could easily happen. No matter what, we do tend to think that the events of this story are going to carry over directly into the finale — and who knows? There could be something more heading into a possible season 2. (As of right now, nothing has been officially announced when it comes to the future.)
