Widow’s Bay season 1 finale spoilers: Star teases surprise ending

We are still a couple of weeks away from seeing the Widow’s Bay season 1 finale arrive over on Apple TV, but it is never too early to set the stage, right?

Ultimately, what is so fascinating about where we are right now is simply the fact that every episode seems to throw a number of different stories at you, leaving so many of us in what we would describe as a pretty unpredictable spot. For most of this past episode, for example, we saw an absolutely bonkers adventure where Patricia was seemingly forced to square off against the boogeyman from her past. They seem to be gone and yet, there are still some horrors in the town that are still out there. Who is behind all of this? Are we going to get an answer before the end of the season?

Well, at least one of the people behind the scenes of the show feels pretty darn confident with where the story eventually lands. Speaking on that further to Elle, here is some of what Kate O’Flynn (who plays Patricia) had to say:

“They won’t be disappointed … I think it sticks the landing. They won’t know where it is going, but it’s really good.”

Ultimately, we recognize that there is no Widow’s Bay renewal out there as of yet; at the same time, though, we do tend to think that there is a reasonably good chance that we still end up getting it. This show has become a surprise sensation on the streaming service over the past several weeks, getting more and more popular (and thankfully so!) as it has gone along.
