Love Island USA season 8 premiere: Where, what time to watch

If you have not heard the big news already the Love Island USA season 8 premiere is coming soon to Peacock — so what can we say about it now?

Well, if you are a frequent guest at the villa (metaphorically, of course), then you are at least reasonably aware of how this show operates. The premiere features an introduction to all the contestants, their arrival to the location, and then some super-early connections. There can be a little drama, but it is hard to say that there is too much heartbreak when everyone is literally meeting each other for the first time.

Luckily, the premiere is now less than 24 hours away! The current plan is for the premiere to stream at 9:00 p.m. Pacific time Tuesday on the aforementioned streaming service; throughout this week, you are going to have a chance to see new installments every single day! (Starting next week, the show will skip Wednesdays.) In lieu of a regular episode on Saturdays, you will have a chance to watch the Aftersun companion show.

Is this a lot of Love Island USA content in an extremely short amount of time? Yes, but there is a model here that proves the audience is there for it. We tend to think that this is almost a big part of the appeal; you spend around a month with some of these people, get consumed in the reality TV messiness, and then go on to the rest of your TV-watching life. The fact that the main show only comes out once a year (at least if you are talking about the American version) helps it to feel a little bit more like a signature event.
