Is Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage new tonight on CBS? Of course, we do not blame anyone who wants to see the show continue and soon. We have already seen a lot of twists and turns with the sitcom, with the latest being Georgie’s mother Mary getting closer to his business rival — and that opening an immediate rift.

So are we about to see a continuation of all this? In theory it would be great, but this is where some of the bad news comes into play…

For those who are unaware, last week’s installment of Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage proved to be the season 2 finale. We are lucky to know already that the show is going to be coming back for more but at the same time, there are still so many questions in the aftermath of that. How is the Mary story going to escalate? Is Georgie about to self-sabotage the relationship he has with his wife? As funny as the series may be at times, nothing quite takes away the obvious fact that eventually, there are going to be parts of it that turn sad. There may still not be a rush for that to happen, just as there was not a rush for Young Sheldon to kill off George Sr. during its run.

For now, our expectation is that the third season will premiere at some point in late September or early October. If we are lucky, there will be opportunities to learn more about what is ahead over the course of the summer. We do not expect any big changes, but there could always be new guest stars or some opportunities to create nods that tie all the way back to The Big Bang Theory.
