For All Mankind season 6 premiere date hopes at Apple TV

Following the big season 5 finale tonight on Apple TV, is there more we can say regarding a For All Mankind season 6?

If you are not aware for whatever reason, it has already been confirmed at this point that there will be another chapter of the space saga. Unfortunately, the bittersweet part of this is noting that this is going to be the final season. It is sad, but at the same time, six seasons is really long for any streaming show. That is especially the case for one that has this big of a budget.

In a statement about the renewal, here is some of what Matt Cherniss, head of programming for Apple TV, had to say:

“From being one of the first Apple Originals to launch on Apple TV in 2019, ‘For All Mankind’ has remained an innovative, epic sci-fi series that has enthralled fans season after season … As one of Apple TV’s most enduring and celebrated series, it has delivered time and again because of the extraordinary artistry of visionary storytellers Ron, Matt and Ben, along with our partners at Sony, and we can’t wait for people to experience how this story comes to its exhilarating conclusion when the final season debuts next year.”

When are we going to be seeing it return?

Given how long it takes to make this particular show happen, we would be stunned to see it back before we get around to 2028. In the meantime, at least we have the Star City spin-off show to enjoy? We will have to wait and see just how long that show goes, but it could come down greatly to performance at the end of the day.
