Next week on NBC, you will have a chance to see Brilliant Minds season 2 episode 16 play out. What exactly can you expect?
First and foremost, we do have to start out this piece with the unfortunate reminder that the Zachary Quinto series has been canceled and barring some miracle, it is likely going to stay that way. NBC is at least allowing us a chance to see the remainder of the story and for everyone out there who is invested in what we’ve seen from Dr. Wolf already, this means a chance for some closure. (Of course we can’t speak to whether or not the finale will tie up every loose end — some things require a wait and see approach.)

Ultimately, it feels like through a lot of the end of this season, it is going to be Dr. Wolf’s own mind that is a focus just as much as anything else. The writers clearly wanted to explore that and in general, this is something that is commonly a part of all medical dramas out there. After all, there is something big to the idea that doctors, despite their skill set and immense knowledgebase, are not always altogether capable of properly caring for themselves.
