The Last Thing He Told Me season 3 renewal: May 2026 update

Is there any chance at all that we are going to hear more about The Last Thing He Told Me season 3 between now and the end of the month?

If you watched the second season of the Apple TV series starring Jennifer Garner, there are a few things you may now already. First and foremost, the show wrapped up at least some loose ends in the season 2 finale. Yet, at the same time, it does also still feel like there is a little more that could be explored. There was just enough left open to let the possibility linger, and it does also feel like a lot of people involved would like to come back and do more.

For the time being, it does feel like everything is up to the streaming service and while it would be nice to get news on The Last Thing He Told Me season 3 this month, we could be waiting for a little bit longer than that. Our general feeling is that come this summer, the show’s future will be laid out one way or another … and we remain cautiously optimistic. It can be hard to truly identify the success of a show like this, but we do at least know that it performed well on Apple’s viewership charts when season 2 was on. That may or may not be enough to keep it around, mostly because they may also be looking at budget and long-term viability.

The biggest thing we can say right now is not too complicated — if you want to see more of the show, tell your friends! That is easily the best way to ensure that we get more of the show down the line, especially when you sit back and think about how Apple values retention — in other words, people watching the show the whole way through.
