Tracker season 4 spoilers: Justin Hartley on the stories to come
Coming out of the Tracker season 3 finale on CBS yesterday, it is clear that there are at least a few things that are different for Colter. He has some answers when it comes to his family history, but also some opportunities to start to look towards his future. Do not be shocked if the next part of the story allows him to get some distance, but at the same time, echoes of who he is and what he has gone through already.
We know that behind the scenes, there is a significant change for the Justin Hartley series as production is going to be shifting over to Los Angeles after three years in Vancouver. So are some of the stories going to be different at the same time? Both yes and no.

Speaking to The Wrap, Hartley (who is also an executive producer) did his best to look more to what the next chapter of the show could look like after everything that has happened:
“We have spent the first three years unpacking this story about what happened to Colter’s father — who was involved, who wasn’t involved — and that’s changed throughout the course of the show … First being that Colter thought his brother was involved, because his mother told him as much. Come to find out, that’s not necessarily the case. So all of that kind of comes to a head and we get some answers to all that stuff at the end of Season 3.
“These stories take as long as they take, but when it’s time for a story to come to a head and answer some questions, it’s time. And it became obvious that this was sort of the right time to do this … We’ll come back with something — we already have it, it’s pretty incredible. Honestly, I think it’s our most ambitious season to date, but I think it’s also our richest one, in terms of character and backstory and where we’re taking Colter.”
One thing we do believe is that moving to Los Angeles may be all the more helpful when it comes to securing local talent and with that in mind, there is quite a bit to be excited for.
