The Way Home season 4 finale spoilers: What answers are we getting?

We know that there are a few weeks to go until we get to The Way Home season 4 finale — otherwise known as the end of the series. What exactly can you expect leading up to that point?

Obviously, this is one of those shows where there is going to be an inevitable thirst for answers at every point, not that this comes as some dramatic surprise. That has been a huge part of the series from the beginning no matter which character or family you are ultimately talking about.

Rest assured that in the end, some answers are coming — though they may not happen immediately. Speaking on this further to TV Guide, here is a little bit more of what executive producer Alexandra Clarke had to say on the subject:

I know people are nervous right now because they think we’re asking more questions instead of answering the old ones. I will say, where is the fun in that? You can’t have every episode answering something. You have to ask new questions and have faith that those questions will lead to answers for older ones. I think by the end, everyone will be very satisfied. We certainly are. The biggest question is, who is KC to the family? How does Sam know about the pond? Who is he in relation to everyone else? We will address all of that stuff.

Our hope here is that no matter where all the metaphorical chips fall here, we do end up in a spot that is emotionally satisfying. This show is complicated, and we’re not even sure that every loose thread will be addressed. From where we stand, we will simply be happy if most of the picture feels clear.
