Twisted Metal season 3 premiere date: A May 2026 update

As we get closer and closer to the end of May, is there a chance we are going to learn anything more regarding Twisted Metal season 3 over at Peacock?

It may seem obvious, but of course it makes sense to kick things off here by saying that we would love more of the series and sooner rather than later. The end of season 2, after all, highlighted a couple of stories that should be really compelling to watch. For starters, you have the potential of all-out war beyond the city walls. Meanwhile, Sweet Tooth’s father (otherwise known as Dark Tooth) could end up being a significant part of the story.

So are we poised to learn something more soon? It would be wonderful if that proved to be the case, but a certain measure of patience may still need to be had here. After all, there is very little information out there about filming for Twisted Metal season 3 as of yet. We recognize that there will be a new showrunner behind the scenes but outside of that, there has been little to no specific intel out there about larger story points. We know that some elements of the video-game series will still be here and yet, we also do not get the sense that anyone just wants to replicate what we have had a chance to see already.

For now, we would not expect a lot more info between now and the end of the month and honestly, we’d just be happy if we had a season 3 premiere date at this point next. This is not a show that can be turned around quickly, mostly because of all the action and some of the visual effects required to produce it to the utmost quality.
