Dancing with the Stars 35 premiere date: A May 2026 update
As we inch ever closer to the end of May, could we learn something more regarding a Dancing with the Stars 35 premiere date at ABC? It may go without saying but, of course, it would be great to have further insight before too long!
So where do things stand at present? Well, here is what we know: The network has already confirmed that the long-running reality competition show is going to be back this fall, and they are already dropping a few cast members here and there. That is something that we last saw them do in 2025 as a means to build up excitement far in advance, and we are not sure we anticipate any significant change coming with that.

Now that we have spelled that out, this is a good time to raise another big question: Are we going to learn an exact premiere date soon? Obviously that would be great, but we also do not think that the network sees a reason at present to hurry that along. If you are them, you likely want to do whatever you can to string along promotion. Our thinking for the time being is that one way or another, we are going to get a premiere date around the end of June or the start of July, with the show itself arriving in September.
When it comes to DWTS in itself, the only thing we can really profess is simply that we want a whole lot more of the same. There is a reason why it has had such sustained success, and a lot is tied to some really smart decisions that have been made regarding both the casting and the format.
