Boston Blue season 1 finale: More big Danny – Baez news!

We had a feeling that the Boston Blue season 1 finale would continue to bring us some surprises — even some happy ones.

With this very thing in mind, let’s just share the good news now when it comes to Danny and Lena — they are going to find a way to make things work! They each committed to one another after having a lot of concerns over the past few weeks. Meanwhile, Danny decided that he would fight for a quick promotion at the Boston Police Department and through that, he could eventually afford a big enough place for Baez to be able to move up with everyone that matters to her. We want to say that this is foreshadowing, but who knows exactly what the future will hold?

One other thing we’ll say here is very-much worth celebrating: Joe Hill managed to turn up! While we do not think he will be sticking around, it is yet another reminder of what came before. The more of those we get, the happier we will be.

As for the Silver family, let’s just go ahead and mention that Lena is going to be okay, despite her being in a decent amount of danger over the course of the hour. Lena also met her half-sister, and you can argue that we had one of the biggest family gatherings we have seen across the entire Blue Bloods universe.

As for the cliffhanger…

Well, Brian was hit in his car! Nobody else seems to be aware of it as of now, but this has to be the one thing that this show is doing different from the original. After all, Blue Bloods rarely chose to prioritize this sort of thing.
