Tracker season 3 episode 22 (finale) spoilers: ‘The Best Ones’

Next week on CBS, you are going to have a chance to see Tracker season 3 episode 22 — what more can we say about what is to come?

First and foremost, we really should note that “The Best Ones” is the story where everything is going to be hitting the fan. How can it not be, given that we are talking about the all-important finale? Jensen Ackles is coming back as Russell, and we do really hope that there is an opportunity to get closure on a big Colter storyline that has taken up a good chunk of the season.

“The Best Ones” – Colter and Russell search for a victim of a nefarious research project, on the third season finale of the CBS Original series TRACKER, Sunday, May 24 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on-demand for Paramount+ Premium plan subscribers, or on-demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs)*.

Obviously, the nature of this show makes it a prime candidate to have some sort of big cliffhanger at the very end, and why wouldn’t the powers that be want that on some level? They already know that the series is extremely successful, and they may view this as a way to ensure that everyone sticks around.

Hopefully, we will get a full premiere date for Tracker season 4 over the course of the summer — there is absolutely a lot of great stuff to look forward to even beyond the finale. Will Jensen continue to be a part of the show in some way? We tend to think that a lot of that is going to be tied to his schedule…
