Margo’s Got Money Troubles renewed for season 2 at Apple TV

Just when you thought that Margo’s Got Money Troubles may have been a limited series over on Apple TV, think again.
Tonight, the folks over at the streaming service officially confirmed via Deadline that they are going to bring the Elle Fanning led dramedy back for another chapter. As for what that chapter will look like, that remains to be seen — especially when you consider that the first season has had no real problem constantly shifting and morphing itself over time. That can certainly be exciting, but we don’t blame anyone who really felt that season 1 was going to be a continuous story and that was it.

We imagine that if there is one big challenge heading into season 2, it is trying to make sure that you get a lot of the A-list cast back, especially when people like Michelle Pfeiffer and Nicole Kidman also have a number of other projects going at the same time.
Luckily, this is where we can issue a reminder that Apple as a streaming service is really not the sort that forces shows to come back on an annual basis. They are likely going to be willing to give the entire team behind Margo’s Got Money Troubles time to ensure that they conjure up a new chapter that is every bit as exciting as season 1, but also full of its own sort of surprises.
In the end, the best advice we can really offer is to cross your fingers and hope that we are going to have either a late 2027 or early 2028 launch for what is next. Also, there’s a shot that there will be plenty more news before then.
