Chicago Med season 11 episode 21 (finale): Hannah’s crisis

In a matter of days we are going to have a chance to see Chicago Med season 11 episode 21 on NBC, otherwise known as the big-time finale. What exactly is going to transpire?

Well, first and foremost, we do have to begin here by noting that the major theme at the heart of this story is going to be a lockdown, one that could throw a lot of major characters here into serious jeopardy. It also may throw Hannah into a crisis that only a show like this could pull off — she is working to help a pregnant patient in labor while also being pregnant herself. How do you deal with all of that?

Speaking in a new interview with TV Insider, here is at least what Jessy Schram herself had to say about what is to come:

“She’s now in a scenario that all of these fears of what could happen throughout her pregnancy, all the things that could go wrong… Well, now she’s the only medical person that’s in the room. She has somebody in active labor that she needs to deal with … And I can share that things are not as easy as they could be. There are some problems there that they need to get through. And she’s in active labor herself, so she’s dealing with that.”

Ultimately, our general feeling here is that this is not going to be an episode where Hannah will be able to get any help at any point in the early going. We do hope that Archer will find her in due time, and also that he is going to be able to tell her everything on his mind. (Side note: We really like that Chicago Med is embracing this relationship, given that it is so different from many others out there.)
