Law & Order season 25 episode 21 spoilers: The epic finale

Next week on NBC you will have a chance to dive into Law & Order season 25 episode 21 — so what all can we say about it now?
Well, the first order of business here is simply noting that “Liberty” will be the all-important final chapter of the current batch of episodes. Technically, it could also be the series finale. NBC has yet to renew the show and that has to bring a certain element of concern. It has been abruptly canceled before and while it could always be revived, very little is guaranteed in the world of TV. You have to be aware of that far in advance.

For now, what we can say is that per the Law & Order season 25 episode 21 synopsis below, the stakes are going to be high on multiple levels. Not only is Baxter in the thick of his campaign, but some courtroom drama will put Price and Maroun in a complicated spot:

While it is always possible that there is a cliffhanger at the end of all this, we certainly hope that this is not the case. After all, we really just want there to be a sense of overall closure in case this is the end, and that the characters can have some momentary peace. Sure, none of the current cast has been in our lives for decades, but you do become invested in them overtime and hate to see them struggle against corruption or other challenging parts of the system.
