All American season 8 premiere date finally revealed at The CW

We know that it has been a really long wait to get news on All American season 8 over on The CW, really to the point where some may be questioning whether or not the show is still even more the air.
Well, today we are lucky to have an answer: On Monday, July 13, the first two episodes of the football drama are going to be coming on the air. We imagine that throughout the final season there are going to be callbacks to the early era of the show, but also some propulsive stories that dive into what it is like playing football at such a complicated period of time.

In a statement about ending the series, here is some of what showrunner Nkechi Okoro Carroll had to say per Deadline:
“How do you say goodbye to family? Because that is what these characters, these actors, this All American crew and staff are after eight beautiful, hard fought, seasons together. Family. This was the question on repeat for all of us as we crafted this final season with long hours, lots of love, and even more tears. And what we realized was that just like when your kids grow up and finally leave home, this wasn’t goodbye… It was a tear-filled I’ll see you soon … So, to our fans who have rocked with us faithfully for over a hundred episodes, we hope you enjoy this final season as much as we enjoyed making it. Thanks for taking this ride with us. We are so grateful for you… And we’ll see you soon.”
In the end, the biggest thing that we are hopeful for here is simply that we’re going to see a real culmination of the entire journey — fingers crossed viewers come back to give it its proper due.
