Shrinking season 4 premiere date hopes over at Apple TV
With today serving as the season 3 finale for Shrinking over at Apple TV, why not go ahead and look towards the future? We know that a season 4 is coming, and absolutely we are more than a little bit thrilled about that.
One other thing that is pretty important to acknowledge at this point is that this season at one point felt like it was never going to happen. The Jason Segel – Harrison Ford series was pitched as a three-season arc, and in many ways, it still is. Yet, executive producer Bill Lawrence and the rest of the team decided that they love these characters and this world so much that they wanted to find a way to tell some more stories — and that is precisely what we are going to get now. All of the current cast, including Ford, are slated to be back. Who knows? There may be new faces as well.

So as for when you are going to see Shrinking season 4 arrive, the first order of business is noting that filming has yet to kick off and until it does, it may be hard to say anything one way or another. The good news here, though, is that this is not a show that requires months and months of visual effects or post-production, which does make us confident that it will return at some point in 2027. We would not say that it will be arriving in the winter again; spring or summer feels like a more realistic estimate.
As for whether season 4 dovetails into another larger arc, that remains to be seen. We honestly do not believe this show needs to end anytime soon. So long as there are more stories to tell that are funny and emotional, why not keep it going?
