A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms season 2 premiere date: April update
Is there a chance at this point we will learn more about A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms season 2 before April wraps up? Obviously, we are thrilled to know that there is more of the Game of Thrones prequel coming already — and beyond this, that production is underway. At this point, everyone should be pretty darn deep into the process.
So what more could we learn about the show’s future this month? Are HBO and/or the producers going to be willing to lift the veil? We’d love it but, at the same time, that feels a little unlikely.

After all, there are so many different things to consider at this point, but we do need to begin here with the fact that the network may have some other promotional priorities right now. For starters, House of the Dragon is the next show coming in this universe and given the size, scale, and budget of it, we tend to think that showing it off will be top priority for the next little while. Meanwhile, the next chapter of Dunk and Egg’s journey is not going to be coming until we get around to early next year, meaning that there is plenty of time for everyone involved to show it off a little bit further.
If there is one thing we would be curious to learn about Seven Kingdoms moving forward this month, it is simply this: Would HBO greenlight a season 3 early? It makes a lot of sense to do so, if for no other reason than that it would allow showrunner Ira Parker to keep running things as smoothly as possible.
