The Boys season 5 spoilers: Jack Quaid says more about ending

Can you believe that in just a matter of days, the premiere of The Boys season 5 is going to be here on Prime Video? It is such a strange and surreal to think about since we’d love to imagine a world where the show goes on much longer.
Yet, creator Eric Kripke has felt for some time that five seasons was the ideal length for this story, and the show having this endgame in mind far in advance has given them the opportunity to do some really cool things. For example, they are not going to hold anything back in the remaining episodes, and that may mean killing people off left and right.

Want to hear more? Then just check out some of what star Jack Quaid had to say in a recent interview with The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon (watch here):
“… Yeah, this is the final season, and we really do mean that … There are characters, I won’t say who, but [they will] meet their end and it’s crazy. It’s really, really nuts. And it was emotional … I’m covered in blood a lot on the show. And it was so weird to be covered in blood and various [goo] and then just also be emotional about that. Like, ‘I’m really gonna miss this.’ And I’m just drenched, head to toe. But it’s just been the honor of my life. I truly love this show and everyone involved.”
The fact that there are tears with The Boys is really a part of the magic. While this show may be tremendous fun a lot of the time, you do get tremendously invested in some of these people. How can you not after what they have gone through?
