Paradise season 3: Sterling K. Brown on multiverse twist

What is exactly at the core of Paradise as we move forward into season 3? You can call what we have experienced now a form of time-travel; or, you can look at it as a multiverse. Basically, what we know is what Sinatra is hoping that Xavier will use the supercomputer / AI Alex to go back and effectively save the world.
However, here is the thing to consider … will he? The thing is that Xavier does still have free will to do what he wants and even if he is able to fix one thing in the past, what is the domino effect. Sinatra seemingly implied that he has already gone back in time — hence the whole multiverse idea where there are multiple things playing out at once.

Speaking to Variety, here is some of what star Sterling K. Brown had to say about what the story could be moving forward:
“And so now that this is introduced into our world, I think the question is, what do you really want? Do you want to go back? Do you want to move forward and leave it alone? Is it too mysterious to play with, to even tinker with, or is it too compelling to not? And different people have different decisions to make based upon where they are in life at that particular time. And you’ll see how that plays out over the course of Season 3.”
In all likelihood, this is going to be the final season of Paradise unless Hulu convinces creator Dan Fogelman to change his mind. We are going to get answers, and hopefully with that, also some rules as to how all of this is going to work in the first place. That in itself is still a hard thing to figure out.
