Is Julianne Nicholson leaving Paradise? Is Sinatra dead?

We knew that the Paradise season 2 finale was bound to deliver an enormous twist — so what exactly did we get with Sinatra?

Well, we do recognize that for the bulk of the first two seasons of the show, this is someone shrouded with as many moral ambiguity as you are going to find anywhere out there. She did some terrible things in the bunker but at the same time, she often did so under the guise of trying to make the bunker and the world a better place.

So where did all of this ultimately end? With Sinatra opting to make a big sacrifice in order to rescue everyone else. She decided to be the one who stayed inside the bunker to contain the blast, making sure that everyone else is okay. It appears as though Alex is still together to a certain extent out there, as the super-computer is some distance away underneath the Denver aiport.

Ultimately, the crazy thing about this show right now is that while Sinatra is technically dead in the present, the way in which the finale is written suggests that Nicholson could easily come back in another season. That would really just be all about Sterling K. Brown’s character heading back into the past and in doing so, saving everyone from the future. Julianne could easily appear either in flashbacks or another timeline. After all, just remember for a moment here that James Marsden has appeared on a number of instances in season 2 already, despite the fact that his own character if Cal was dead at the start of the show. There are still so many different ways that this show can operate and that is a part of the fun.
