Next week on CBS, you are going to have a chance to see NCIS season 23 episode 14 — and we do tend to think you are going to be emotional.

After all, how are you not emotional already about all of this? We are still in a spot right now where we are mourning Rocky Carroll as Leon Vance, and it is not going to be that difficult or that easy of a thing to process at this point. The entire agency is going to change in some shape or form is going to be changing and by virtue of that, how will the series and the characters handle all of this?

If you head over to the link here now, you can see a small peek for what is ahead that features the rest of the team doing their best to pay tribute to Vance, including doing a toast for him at his desk. We imagine that there are going to be a lot of tributes to him both in this episode and the rest of the season.

As for what else we’re going to be seeing in this episode, let’s just say that the series is going to be sticking to its roots even in spite of the recent tragedy. One of the things that Leon would want is for the team to move forward and do what they do best, and that includes solving crimes no matter what they look like. What happens when a sailor dies during Fleet Week? Things are going to be messy, but that is a big part of what makes the show necessary!

If you miss Rocky Carroll…

Well, we know that he will be back this season to direct, and you never know about possible flashbacks or dream sequences…
