RJ Decker season 1 episode 5 spoilers: ‘Burn Notice’

Just from the title of RJ Decker season 1 episode 5 alone, doesn’t it feel like we are diving knee-deep into the history of Miami crime dramas? After all, “Burn Notice” makes us pretty darn nostalgic for the USA Network show that starred Jeffrey Donovan for so many years.
Is there a thematic connection between that show and this one? Or, is this just a mere coincidence? Well, that’s something that remains a mystery for now, but we do tend to think that the Scott Speedman drama is going to bring some really fun stuff to the table.

R.J. unravels the truth about a Little League coach whose family is being mysteriously targeted. Meanwhile, R.J.’s parole officer worries that he is pushing the boundaries of his conditional release.
In general, we do tend to think that this is the sort of story that allows for a chance to get these sort of occasional updates from the parole officer. RJ is not your typical crime-solver, and that is a big part of what makes this show so unique — plus of course also the setting.
As for that mystery regarding the Little League coach, the only thing we can say here is that a lot of the people in youth sports are SO much more competitive than you would ever think — even to the point where they can be dangerous. This may not be that easy of a situation to solve, at least based on what we think at this particular moment.
Now that we’ve said all of that, here is your reminder that if you want more of the show, you gotta keep watching live! For now, nothing about the future is confirmed.
