When Calls the Heart season 14 premiere date: Spring 2026 update

We are now a couple of days removed from the When Calls the Heart season 13 finale, which was epic for a couple of reasons. First and foremost, Nathan and Elizabeth are engaged! Also, Abigail is back in Hope Valley! There are so many different things to be excited about, and we are ready to see the cast and crew back in production.

Now that we have said all of this, do we have any more insight as to when the show will be back? Well, there is certainly more to get into here.

One thing that we can say with confidence is that at some point this year, When Calls the Heart season 14 will start filming. Typically that happens in the summer but with star / executive producer Erin Krakow currently pregnant, we are expecting a certain amount of flexibility when it comes to particular dates. There is also a chance that parts of the season are filmed a little out of order, which does happen at times with cable / streaming shows.

Hallmark did not indicate following the season 13 finale that there is anything different happening regarding a return date for the next chapter and for now, we will take that as a sign that (fingers crossed) we get the series back in the winter. Now we have seen seasons air in the spring and summer as well, so all possibilities are seemingly on the table. We do not expect too much more on the future through most of the spring; the exact picture should be clarified more by the time we get to the fall. Just remember that once the full season is shot, it up to Hallmark to figure out just when they want to air it.
