Australian Survivor: Redemption episode 15 preview: After the blindside

No matter what happens from here on Australian Survivor: Redemption, one thing still does feel very much clear: We just watched pure cinema.
After all, we will go ahead and argue that the events of episode 14 are among the greatest that we have seen in the history of the show. Not only did Mark play his idol correctly, but he also was able to assess who he could and could not trust while getting rid of an unstable element in the game in Richard. You can argue that it would have been useful for him to take out a more prominent adversary but at the same time, they are going to be there. The more you get out other bigger targets, the more you stand out. You have to be aware of that!

Unfortunately, here is the real problem that Mark now finds himself in: The majority of the tribe did just vote him out, and he no longer has any safety. He may have to find another immunity idol, win a challenge, or hope for a flip. Caleb is someone who may entertain the idea of some level, largely because he does not have a true #2 at this point. Meanwhile, Mark could very well end up flipping on one of his fellow returnees in order to save his own hide.
If there is any reason for the rest of the newbies to go after Brooke or Simon over him, it is simply this: They are better at challenges. They have each won an immunity challenge already and honestly, it is crazy that Brooke is not an even larger threat given that she has also found multiple idols already. She is easily the biggest threat remaining, mostly by virtue of her ability to almost constantly manage to get out of trouble and then fly under the radar.
