Over the past several years on “Dexter,” one of the joys has been getting the opportunity to see the world of the show twist and evolve in a variety of different ways. There have been many changes, there have been many surprises, and all of them in some shape or form have led to us being where we are now: On the cusp of the very end. The hit Showtime drama will come to a close now in just eleven episodes, and hopefully it will do so in a way that has many people talking for some time.
So what is there to be the most excited about? Based on how some past stars of the show talk about it in the video below, so much of it is about the debate, including whether or not the character will live to see the light of day once this is over.
Hats off to Showtime for managing to bring so many old faces together in this clip. You have Julie Benz (Rita), Jaime Murray (Lila), John Lithgow (Trinity), Christian Camargo (Brian), Erik King (Doakes), Colin Hanks (Travis), and Yvonne Strahovski (Hannah) all making return appearances here. The only major omissions that we can think of are Jimmy Smits (who is off busy filming “Sons of Anarchy”) and Julia Stiles, who for whatever reason the show likes to pretend does not exist, given how rarely people have chosen to talk about Lumen over the course of the promotional process (and despite the awards-show acclaim that she had for her role).
