Next week on ABC, we are going to have a great opportunity to dive more into 9-1-1 season 9 episode 15 — so what more can we say?

Well, first and foremost, let’s note that the title here is “Pick Your Poison” and from all we can currently gather, this is a pretty direct reference to one of the story-of-the-week plots. Athena is going to be working to solve a mystery regarding a poisoning, one that will be all the more complicated by the fact that the victim came to her just before their apparent death.

To get some more news on what is to come, check out the full 9-1-1 season 9 episode 15 synopsis below:

Athena is pulled into a mysterious murder investigation when a man arrives at the station to report his own death. Meanwhile, the 118 races to the site of a car crash involving a mother and son.

Are there going to be some stories that matter long-term within here? That is admittedly a part of what we are hoping to still figure out. We do recognize the powers-that-be trying to be cryptic with a few twists and turns, but we are still curious about how Buck is dealing with his abduction. After all, it feels absurdly unrealistic to sit here and think that he is magically doing okay after just a few episodes.

Meanwhile, it is also equally important to remember here that we are just a matter of weeks removed from the finale. Doesn’t it feel like a sure thing that some major events are going to transpire there? We know that a season 10 is coming, but that doesn’t mean you have to draw a lot of stories out. There is still more than ample time to deliver a few more twists if you really want to do that.
