Slow Horses season 6 premiere date: A spring 2026 update
Is there a chance that we are going to be getting a Slow Horses season 6 premiere date between now and the end of the spring? Of course, it would be nice to dive into the world of Slough House once more! This show is smart, funny, intriguing, and full of great characters. It also manages to evolve into something new every single time it arrives on Apple TV.
We know that season 6 finished filming a long time ago; heck, there was even some footage of it at the end of season 5! We are in a holding pattern right now as we wait and see what the powers-that-be decide to do with the next chapter. It all really comes down to 1) when the streaming service wants to announce the next premiere date and ) when they actually want it on the air.

When it comes to the announcement, we do think there is a chance that Apple reveals something before the spring is over. We are thinking along the lines of them announcing a late summer / early fall premiere date once we get around to late June. It is really hard to imagine the show premiering in the near future, mostly because the desire is likely for Slow Horses season 6 to be eligible for the 2027 Emmys. In order for that to happen, it needs to premiere at some point after June 1.
In looking back to the past…
Last year, a season 5 premiere date was announced in early June, with the show itself coming back in September. We would not expect anything too different here, but some of it will just come down to what holes on the Apple TV schedule need to be filled.
