Bridgerton season 5 premiere date: A spring 2026 update
Is there a significant chance we will hear something more about a Bridgerton season 5 premiere date between now and the end of the spring? It clearly makes a lot of sense to want to get the period drama back before too long — but then again, are we being a bit greedy? Just remember, after all, that it was not that long ago that we had a chance to see season 4 arrive…
In the end, here is some of what we can say at this particular point in time: Filming for the next chapter of the Netflix hit is going to be starting off before too long but at the same time, this is traditionally a show that has taken between 20-24 months to release its seasons.

So would it be great to get more news on season 5 this spring? Absolutely, but we are not going to be hearing much regarding a premiere date! The earliest we think that we are going to get something on that is in 2027. We do think it is possible that we see new episodes in the summer or fall next year thanks to the early production turnaround but for now, that may be the best thing that we can really hope for, all things considered.
As for what we could learn this spring…
This does not even feel like a situation that is all that hard to really spell out. If we are lucky, we are going to have a chance to at least get clarity on who the main focus is going to be moving forward. As of right now, it does feel like there are two different candidates in Eloise and Francesca. So where will the story land? It could work either way…
