House of the Dragon season 3 premiere date: A spring 2026 update

Is there any chance that we are going to see House of the Dragon season 3 between now and the end of the spring? Well, it feels like there is a clear answer: Yes! The plan is for HBO to bring the series back in June and at this point, we are really just waiting to get an exact date. Spring runs through most of that month, so there are very few scenarios we do not get it until the season is done.
Ultimately, we believe that the next few weeks in particular could be rather outstanding when it comes to further updates on the Game of Thrones prequel, as the network often does announce premiere dates for their shows a couple of months in advance. Why would they suddenly do something different here? That is a hard thing for us to see or imagine for the time being.

With that, our feeling right now is that at some point around the release of Euphoria season 3 next month, we are going to get more of a precise announcement as to when the fantasy epic is going to be back on the air. They will likely want to use one of their biggest hits in order to promote the other and give themselves as much promotional momentum as humanly possible — and why in the world wouldn’t they?
As for what future teases will highlight…
Well, a lot of it could start with the Battle of the Gullet, which is known to be a pretty infamous encounter from Fire & Blood where multiple lives could be lost. This is something that once upon a time, we had hoped to see in season 2.
