The Witcher season 5 premiere date: A March 2026 update

As we get further and further into the month of March, is more news on the horizon when it comes to The Witcher season 5 over at Netflix?
There is quite a bit to say about the upcoming season of the adaptation, beginning with the fact that filming has been done for a little while now. We do tend to imagine that the goal for the streaming service is to get it out to viewers later this year, mostly to ensure that the series concludes with a bang. This is the final season, meaning that there will be higher stakes, epic battles, and hopefully a whole lot more. This is also the second season for Liam Hemsworth as the new Geralt, which means that he probably is more comfortable in this role than ever before.

So what more can we say about a possible premiere date? Well, for starters here, we are unlikely to get more insight on it in the reasonably near future, including this month and beyond. The most important thing right now is that the post-production team has all the time they need to perfect the remainder of the story. Our general feeling is that it could return in either the late summer or early fall and if that does turn out to be the case, an announcement could be coming within a few months.
Above all else, one thing that we are curious about is whether The Witcher is going to give us the remainder of the series all at once, or if they will split it up / try to make a big event out of it. Based on everything we’ve seen from some of Netflix’s other high-profile releases, they have a tendency to be a little bit unpredictable.
