‘The Walking Dead’ season 4: Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, full Comic-Con panel

The Walking DeadWe’ve already shared with you some early details about “The Walking Dead” at Comic-Con, along with an official poster to get you that much more excited for when Friday, July 19 rolls around. Now, we have the final bit of detail to offer that should be very important to just about every diehard fan of the show: The list of the big names who are actually planning to be in attendance at present.

From the acting perspective, the convention will bring you Andrew Lincoln (Rick), Norman Reedus (Daryl), Steven Yeun (Glenn), Lauren Cohan (Maggie), Danai Gurira (Michonne), David Morrissey (The Governor), Chad Coleman (Tyreese), and Scott Wilson (Hershel). When it comes to getting a list of top-notch actors on the show together for a panel, this list is about as close to complete as you can ask for. Are there still some omissions? Sure, but we are impressed that Morrissey especially is showing up, given that the story regarding what lies ahead for The Governor is still very much shrouded in mystery.

From the producing standpoint, you have the likes of executive producers Scott M. Gimple, Gale Ann Hurd, Greg Nicotero (who is also the special effects guru), and David Alpert all stopping by to show off their level of zombie expertise. Of course, fellow executive producer and source writer Robert Kirkman is also in attendance.

Among the highlights of this panel? Think along the lines of a lively Q&A session, some highlights of this past season, and we’d also be stunned if there is not something shown off about season 4 to the audience, which may at that point be literal zombies after walking around for so long in the San Diego sun.

If you don’t want to wait until Comic-Con for your “Walking Dead” scoop, have no fear! For more of the latest news related to the show, including some new characters being cast, all you have to do is click here.
