The Night Agent season 4 renewal confirmed at Netflix
If you were even remotely questioning the future of The Night Agent over at Netflix, here is a major reason not to be: The series has an official renewal for more!
Today, the streaming service confirmed that the Gabriel Basso led drama series will 100% be back. This is something that has been a foregone conclusion for some time but even still, it is a delight to see the official news come out. It gives us more hope that there is an incredibly long life for the series, which could still branch off into a franchise with spin-offs and the like.

In a new statement confirming the renewal news per Deadline, here is some of what showrunner Shawn Ryan had to say:
“It’s been a wild ride filming The Night Agent in five countries across three continents to this point and we’re so thrilled that the adventures of Peter Sutherland will continue into Season 4 … Our writers, our cast and our crew stand ready to answer the call to bring our incredible fans even more twists, turns and thrills.”
We do recognize that there is one major change already heading into the fourth season, as the plan is for it to film mostly in Los Angeles. This does allow the series to remain unpredictable and ever-changing, and that is something that we do personally very-much appreciate. We imagine that there are going to be some significant new threats on the show moving forward, but also hopefully characters from the first three seasons beyond Peter. Given that the writers were okay to not include Rose in season 3, that does show that a lot of people can come and go.
