Abbott Elementary season 5 episode 15: ‘Safety Day’

As we look more towards Abbott Elementary season 5 episode 15 on ABC next week, what more can we say about the overall focus here?
Well, one of the things that this show has long done a great job at is finding a way to turn classic school staples into hilarious events, and that could be happening once again here in “Safety Day.” Do you remember when antidrug organizations came to your class to discuss certain things — or at the very least, when there were some assemblies? That does feel like it is going to be quite a focus here, along of course with how the adults are dealing with key events in their lives.

An antidrug campaign visits the school, and Jacob is outraged by an unfair district election.
Would we like to get more in terms of what’s to come here? Sure, just as we would also love to get a better sense of what the long-term future is for the series at the same time. Then again, there really is not that much a reason for concern at present, mostly because we fully believe that a season 6 is coming and it would be absolutely bonkers to suggest anything different. The show still performs well and beyond just that, it has a great deal of critical acclaim. These are things that almost any series out there would want, especially on network TV.
Update: Here is the great news — since publication, the show has been renewed for a season 6!
