AMC’s ‘The Killing’ season 3, episode 7 preview: What to expect in ‘Hope Kills’

Hope KillsDon’t you love a show that is so mired in positivity like “The Killing”? Seriously, we don’t quite know what this show is trying to do to bring us down yet another notch from where we usually are. Sunday’s episode is entitled “Hope Kills,” and we can therefore imagine that sunshine and frolicking through a field of flowers are not a part of what will be the hour’s overall theme.

So what will this episode be about? Despair will be a part of it, given that this series really shows off the frustrations of being a detective better than most, as these people are often exhausted and don’t have the opportunity to really function as everyday people. There are frustrations in the current murders, as the primary suspect in Mills has made himself a ghost.

What will be particularly interesting to see this week is just what sort of role the pastor cops to having in everything that has transpired over the past several episodes. Is he a worthy suspect? We are going to find out that he has been living a lie in front of most of his practicing members, and that is never a good start.

As for some other storylines, Seward (pictured above) is going to come closer to the idea of death than he ever has before, and Bullet is going to be forced into a new sort of role as a protector, one that has not been so important so far in this community of stranded children.

What do you want to see take place on Sunday night’s “The Killing,” and is this title perhaps too grim even for your taste? We want to hear more of your thoughts below! If you want to read some more news on this episode and to watch a promo, all you have to do is visit the link here.
