The Traitors US season 4 finale: Could Eric Nam pull off a solo win?

We know that amidst a lot of the buildup for the season 4 finale of The Traitors US a little later this week, it has been easy to draw some assumptions. A big one, for example, is the idea that Rob Rausch either wins with Eric Nam, or finds a way to get him out before the end of the finale. The Love Island USA alum has far and away been the breakout star of the season in terms of his gameplay, and also has worked to surround himself with good players and plenty of protection.

Now that we have said all of this, we do think it is equally important to play devil’s advocate for a moment. Is there a chance that Eric could still on his own, without Rob even around?

Well, let’s just say that there is a case to be made for it, but it would take a couple of things happening. First and foremost, Eric would need to remind himself that Rob is cutthroat — he should know this already because of Candiace. Meanwhile, he would need to act really fast since Maura Higgins seems unlikely to ever make a move against Rob. Therefore, what needs to happen is that Eric would need to team up with the other surviving Faithful (outside of Maura), convincing them to after Rob. If it is Tara and Mark who are left, for example, they could be receptive.

If that does not happen at this point, would he ever really have another chance? The biggest reason it may not happen is because a lot of these players have been somewhat afraid for the bulk of the game so far, and we’re not sure that Eric is that cutthroat. It is just as easy to imagine that he is banished next just for being too quiet at the last roundtable — and that Rob won’t do anything to save him at this point.
