The Neighborhood season 8: Series finale filming wraps!
Even though The Neighborhood is a show meant to make you laugh, there are a reason to feel a little misty-eyed at this point. After all, filming has officially wrapped on the season and with that, the series as a whole.
Is it absolutely sad to see a long-running show conclude? Absolutely, but at the same time we are rather grateful that CBS passed along the news of the series concluding in advance. Because of this rather-simple thing, we have the luxury now of being able to see the storytellers give us something that equates to a proper conclusion.

In a new post on Instagram, Beth Behrs in particular honored the end of the show with the following message:

So how will The Neighborhood conclude? It is our feeling at the moment that we’re going to be seeing a story that features a new chapter in these characters’ lives, and also one that commemorates what we’ve seen here over the years. Of course, we are sure that there will be laughter (this is a sitcom!), but this is also a series that has had its fair share of serious moments, as well. Let’s just hope that it is a finale that makes the entire journey feel worthwhile.
