The Lincoln Lawyer season 5 premiere date: When to expect reveal

As many of you are more than likely aware at this point, we are going to be waiting a good while to see The Lincoln Lawyer season 5 premiere. After all, the fourth season just aired, but we do think that big cliffhanger involving Cobie Smulders will only further along the excitement for what is ahead.

So when are we going to actually get more news on the future? Is there any universe where at least a premiere date announcement happens this year?

Well, based on some of the information we have at present, we can at least say this: Given when filming for The Lincoln Lawyer season 5 will be starting off (tentatively throughout the months ahead), there is a chance that a date announcement comes in either November or December. Meanwhile, the show itself could return in winter / spring 2027, which means that we would have a lot less time between seasons than you get with a lot of your standard series. We tend to think that a lot of this is by design from Netflix, hence the reason why they opted to renew the show at the time in which they did. Given how many of their shows have huge gaps between seasons, it is useful to have something else as an alternative.

Now that we have said all of this, remember that it is very much a projection for what Netflix could do. Even though season 5 will be most likely ready early next year to air, the streamer often schedules their release dates on the basis of need. If they need another season of the show later on, they could choose to simply hold onto it for a bit.
