Is NCIS new tonight on CBS? Make no mistake — we are well-aware that it has been an incredibly long wait since the last episode. We are right there with anyone who wants to see the series back soon!

So when is it actually going to happen? Well, unfortunately not for another couple of weeks. Were it not for the State of the Union Address, we would actually be seeing Sean Murray, Wilmer Valderrama, and the rest of the cast back on February 24. Unfortunately, that is not happening. The plan is to bring it back instead on March 3 with the highly-anticipated “Her,” one of that is going to bring back Emily Wickersham as Ellie Bishop. There could be some incredibly dramatic moments throughout, but we’re also hoping for more content with her and Torres. (How can we not?)

If you have not seen the NCIS season 23 episode 10 synopsis below yet, it sets the stage for what is to come:

“Her” – On her first NCIS: Elite mission, Knight is given orders to hunt down and arrest Eleanor Bishop after the former member of the NCIS team is designated a wanted cyber-terrorist. In need of someone to trust, Bishop turns to Torres, and the two come face to face for the first time since she abruptly left nearly five years ago, on the CBS Original series NCIS, Tuesday, March 3 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on demand for Paramount+ Premium plan subscribers, or on demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs)*. Emily Wickersham returns as Eleanor “Ellie” Bishop in an episode directed by series star Rocky Carroll.

Beyond this episode, we’re hoping that there is a lot more good stuff coming in March — whether it be classic cases or a chance to learn more about the characters. The appearance from Bishop may just be a one-time thing.
