Ted Lasso season 4 premiere date: The best-case scenario

It has been incredibly nice these past several months to know that Ted Lasso season 4 is in the works, especially on the heels of all the waiting that happened beforehand. It is still crazy to think that we went through long stretches of time wondering whether or not the Apple TV series was ever going to be back!
Now, we know that we will be diving into a story that will feel fresh and new in its own way. A big part of the upcoming story will revolve around Ted working to get a women’s team at AFC Richmond off the ground, which presents a new challenge and a separate underdog story. A number of characters from the first three seasons will return, though they will be surrounded here by new players who may be either eager or reluctant to learn from him.

Earlier this year, we were lucky to have the news that the Jason Sudeikis series is going to be back at some point this summer … and it is now largely a matter of when. Can we pinpoint an exact time the show is going to return? That would be nice, but we are still looking at a rather large space there where the series could theoretically come back!
If we were to try and pin things down a little bit more, we would argue that the best-case scenario is that Ted Lasso will be back in July. Would it be wonderful to see it earlier? 100%, but this is where you have to remember that filming has still been going on as of late. When you consider the amount of time required to edit a show of this magnitude, it is hard to envision it returning at any point prior to this. Hope springs eternal that the following month can still happen.
