The Way Home season 4 premiere date, new details revealed!
For everyone out there who has been desperate for a while to learn more about The Way Home season 4 over at Hallmark Channel, there are reasons to celebrate!
Today, the folks over at the network offered up quite a few welcome details. For starters, Chyler Leigh and the rest of the cast will be coming on Sunday, April 19 at 8:00 p.m. Eastern. We know that this is going to be the final chapter of the series — and yes, that will be emotional for a lot of us. There are still so many questions that need to be answered about not just the Pond, but also where a lot of these characters will be left off.

New journeys and revelations await the Landry family across generations. At the beginning of season 4, Alice (Laflamme-Snow) is about to graduate high school, Kat (Leigh) and Elliot (Williams) dream of the next steps for their relationship, while Del (MacDowell) realizes she will soon be an empty-nester again. But Del, Kat, Alice and Elliot should know by now that no matter how hard they try to focus on the future, the past is never gone. As more mysteries are unearthed, the Port Haven of the past and the Landry family of generations before might just contain the answers they seek.
In a further statement about the end, check out what executive producers Heather Conkie and Alexandra Clarke had to say:
“Season 4 of The Way Home is all about new beginnings and uncertain futures … On the cusp of Alice’s high school graduation, our three strong-willed Landry ladies face more independent next chapters… whether they’re ready or not. But lingering questions about the past still haunt them.”
Obviously, it would have been wonderful to see this show last a little bit longer — and yet, we are appreciate of the fact that there is proper closure with all these characters. Many series do not get this opportunity!
