Spartacus: House of Ashur season 2 premiere date: Best-case scenario
Now that we are a stretch of time removed from the Spartacus: House of Ashur season 1 finale, why not discuss the future?
Of course, we would love nothing more than to get more of the reimagined historical drama before too long, but the primary problem here remains the simple fact that it has yet to be renewed. Is that going to change in the near future? We certainly hope so, especially since we know that more stories have already been plotted out!

For now, let’s just go ahead and assume that Spartacus: House of Ashur does come back for a season 2 — when could it actually premiere? This is where you have a chance to look at a long range of possibility, especially since Starz as a network has become rather notorious for taking a long time to bring shows back. However, our feeling is that the best-case scenario here would be a spring / summer 2027 launch. Since there is no renewal yet, it feels overly ambitious to anticipate a return before then, especially since there is filming and post-production still to be done — and we imagine that there are challenges that come with a series this action-heavy.
As for what another season could look like, we really do like to think in terms of butterfly effects here. Given that the whole existence of the series is an alternate reality, we do think that this enables a lot of possibilities where characters could die or rise to power in some unexpected ways. We do not think there will be any general shake-up to the overall DNA here, at least in terms of the sort of content that is ultimately presented. Season 1, after all, was generally well-received by most longtime fans of the franchise.
