Is Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage new tonight on CBS? If you do love this sitcom, you are probably well-aware of how patient you’ve been forced to be already.

Unfortunately, here is where the bad news comes into play, as we’re all going to be stuck waiting for a little while longer still. The Young Sheldon spin-off is still off the air, with the plan being to see it return on Thursday, February 26. That is a long time to wait, but the network has a good reason behind it: Steering clear of the Winter Olympics. Even though Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage has already been renewed for a season 3, they clearly do still want to keep the ratings as strong as possible — and we don’t blame them for that. It is, after all, so hard to make a show successful in this particular era of extreme competition.

Now that we’ve said all of that, why not get into more of the story. The season 2 episode 11 synopsis does offer a sense of what is ahead:

“A New Hobby, a Pervert and a Part-Time Job” – Audrey and Mandy urge Jim to find a new hobby now that he’s retired and driving them crazy, on GEORGIE & MANDY’S FIRST MARRIAGE, Thursday, Feb. 26 (8:00-8:30 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on-demand for Paramount+ Premium plan subscribers, or on-demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs)*.

In general, it is our hope that we are going to get a nice run of new episodes following this one, mostly to make up for the hiatus we’ve dealt with since the holidays. There may be a break at some point because of March Madness but beyond that, we’re hoping for more good stuff every other step of the way.
