The Lincoln Lawyer season 5 premiere date: A good early sign?

Days removed from the season finale airing, we certainly understand anyone curious about The Lincoln Lawyer season 5. When are we going to be seeing it? How long will be stuck waiting?

With Netflix shows, there is often a reasonable amount of concern that a rather long break is coming from the start of one season to the next. Some of that is due to shows requiring a lot of visual effects. However, it can also be tied to some other factors, including how long it takes for renewals to come in. Luckily, we know that the legal drama has already been given a green light for more, and that makes the process so much easier.

Now, let’s go ahead and get the other good news out of the way: Filming is going to be starting before you know it! According to What’s On Netflix, the plan here is for The Lincoln Lawyer to kick off production in March, meaning that it could be done at some point this summer. This means that we could have new episodes to go as early as February next year — though Netflix could hold onto it longer if they choose. The cast and producers do not exactly have much say in all of this, and it is rare that scripted shows come out ever twelve months (though we are seeing it with The Pitt).

In the end, the most important thing here is simply that the optionality and the variables that exist for the show moving forward. We certainly do not want season 5 to be the final one, so let’s all collectively cross our fingers and hope that more ends up being ordered further on down the line.
