Industry season 4 episode 4 promo: Will Jonah speak out?

Based on the promo that we’ve seen for Industry season 4 episode 4, it does appear as though Tender has a problem — and it may come in the form of Kal Penn’s character of Jonah.

At the start of the season, we saw Whitney do what he could to kick Jonah to the curb in his efforts to escape the whole Siren situation. As a result of that, Jonah was not happy — not that this should be a surprise to anyone. His exit gives him a few different options — he could walk away, start something else, or speak out against the company he once helped to lead.

Based on the promo for the next Industry episode over here, we can say that Jim is going to reach out and with that, give him an opportunity to tell his story. We already know what the journalist is after: Using some information to show that Tender has hidden some of its more illicit acts. It is not too different from Harper’s own efforts; we tend to think of them as adjacent sides, but not fully in league with other at the same time.

Meanwhile, this same episode is likely going to give us a great opportunity to learn more about the dynamic between Whitney and Henry, which is already started to become warped in its own ways. Seeing Haley’s face as she walks in on the two having a conversation is interesting … and that’s putting it lightly. Whitney and Henry are both powerful people, and each one of them likely feels like they can use each other to a certain degree. Will they end up being friends, enemies, or a little of both? These are things we could see play out before the season concludes.
