Tell Me Lies season 3 episode 5 spoilers: A pool party

Next week on Hulu, you are going to have a chance to dive into Tell Me Lies season 3 episode 5 — and fittingly, a swimming pool will be front and center.

Given the toxic nature of the relationships on this show, we can’t be too shocked that “I’d Like to Hold Her Head Under Water” is the title for what is ahead. It is a story that will bring a lot of characters together and by virtue of that alone, it should prove incredibly dramatic. Parties are also the sort of place where rumors can spread and if people are a little bit more uninhibited than usual, that amplifies the emotional stakes a little bit further.

If there is one other thing of note here, it is simply that after tonight’s episode, we will officially be at the halfway point of the season — and yes, that is an absolutely bonkers thing to consider given that the show just premiered this past week. (This is, of course, the consequence to Hulu airing three episodes the first week.) Given that there is no guarantee that there is going to be a season 4 down the road, we do tend to think that this amplifies a lot of the stakes here greatly. It is certainly enough to make us think that something truly shocking could be coming around the corner.
